BigGs eBay Gateway
Keeps an online store's stock in sync with its eBay listings, so an item sold in one place is never sold twice.
What it does
- Lists your stock on eBay from your own store, with the price, condition, photos and any disclosures you set.
- Reports eBay sales back to your store so the item is marked sold everywhere.
- Ends eBay listings when an item sells somewhere else, such as your website or a market stall.
- Keeps prices and quantities in step with your store.
- Checks current eBay asking prices for similar items to help you price.
Permissions it asks eBay for
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Manage inventory and offers | Create, update and end your listings |
| View your business policies | Use your existing postage, payment and returns settings on new listings |
| View your orders | Tell your store when something sells on eBay |
| View your eBay username | Show which eBay account is connected |
| View public eBay data | Look up categories and current asking prices |
It does not buy items, run promotions, message buyers or touch your payouts.
Your data
- Your eBay sign-in token is stored encrypted and is only used to act on the listings you send.
- For each sale it passes on the eBay order number, item, quantity and price. It does not store buyers' names or addresses; you ship from eBay as usual.
- It never sends private information from your store, such as who you bought stock from, to eBay.
- You can disconnect at any time, from your store or from your eBay account (Account settings → Permissions). The stored token is then deleted.
